750m swim, will take place at the Aboussafy Aquatic
Center. There are 6 lanes which will have 4 swimmers per lane, for a total of 24 swimmers in a heat. We will have a limit
of 6 heats, 144 athletes. Each heat will have athletes seeded as per their estimated swim time for the 750m. Slower swimmers
will start in the early heats and the faster swimmers in the final heat. Laps will be counted by volunteer lap counters. You
will swim 15 laps of the pool.
After the first heat, swimmers will be put in the water continuously as
the lanes opened up. This is getting to be more popular as it moves the race along and nobody ever has to experience that
fear of being the last person out of the water in their heat!
Transition Map

We now have a new bike course that does not cross over
any rail crossings. It will be a 2 loop course for a total of 17 km. This course will be partly through residential and on
local County secondary highways. This is an open to traffic course so please stay to the right and be aware of other
vehicles. Flagpeople will be at corners to assist in stopping traffic but please be well aware of your surroundings.
Bike Course

The 3 lap 5 km course will take you on park trails
in and around the recreation grounds. Make sure you follow all pylons and signs as to the direction you run in. As you exit
transition you will run to the gate and around the back of the pool. There you will see our water station. You should see
this water station 3 times if you run the correct amount of laps. Follow the path around untill you get to the out and
back section. This is where you will meet oncoming athletes so stay to your left, both ways. This section is only 300m long
before you need to turn and come back. Then turn left towards the pool and you will see the sign that reminds you " Laps arrow
to right or Finish arrow ahead. After 3 laps follow the pylons to the break in the fence where you will go throught towards
the finish line!
This race is aimed to be very spectator friendly as
you can watch them go by on the bike twice and the run 3 times.
